Here is the fun project for the day.
I did jewelry bags for a local company today and then got to play. The company has waited for me to get the bags done so I did the dress for their granddaughter as a bonus. I hope I made this one long enough. She is a tall little gal.
Loved the fabric with the different colors of necklaces made out of beads. Thought the pretty pink with white hearts was a decent compliment. Seemed to pick up the pink of one of the necklaces.
Still working on getting the office and the sewing rooms organized. Thank goodness we are not camping much this month. It has been so very HOT here in our area that it makes no sense to go to the campground just to stay in the camper in the air conditioning.
Craft Town fabrics newsletter showed some fabric with links to Hoffman's website with free quilt patterns. The fabric is 3D. Amazing. I don't know if I will make the 3D version but I really liked the pattern for the Outer Space Quillow. They also have a Butterfly Quillow pattern made from 3D fabric. check them out if you like new ideas. www.hoffmanfabrics.com Free patterns.
I also got to watch Sewing with Nancy this morning on the KET public station. Nancy showed how to make a column quilt using lots of folded fabric. Lots of shapes without intricate piecing technque. I will try one of these before too long. Looks like a great way to utilize the scrap bag pieces.
Oh, and I researched a campground in Harrison Co. Indiana: Buffalo Trace Park. I hope we get to ride over and check it out. Would be nice to have another park close to home to visit. It sounds pretty nice but don't want to do a rally there unless we have actually been on site.
Tomorrow is a great day of Worship and then brunch at Cracker Barrel. Likely to me a nap or two taken during the day as well.
God Bless!
